SUMMARY:NYS Coalition 5th Annual Retreat
DESCRIPTION:After a three-year Covid hiatus\, the New York State Coalition is bringing back its annual in-person retreat at the beautiful Ashokan Center on November 4th and 5th!  \nOur main goal is in-person engagement opportunities (something many have suffered from lack of over the pandemic)  and the benefits that can be enjoyed from networking with Chapter members from across the state. But we also have much wonderful work to report on and want to have the opportunity to hear from you and better plan for what’s to come.  \nDuring the pandemic\, Climate Reality Project’s NY State Chapters Coalition has built up our reputation in many important areas\, and we want to keep the momentum going into the new year and be able to thoughtfully take advantage of opportunities to grow: for example\,The Climate Reality Project will be hosting a Winter 2024 training in New York\, which is going to be fantastic\, and we want to be ready to fully participate in it and welcome new members. We’ll have time to strategize for the NYS legislative session\, and we have some terrific educational sessions planned as well. Don’t worry – there will also be campfire and s’mores time! And of course\, there are beautiful trails to hike\, and Woodstock is nearby – well worth the visit while you’re in the area.
